I think "Dexter" should go to Bon Temps, Louisiana to take care of MaryAnn. Things would be sorted out very quickly! I have last weeks episode DVR'd and will watch it with the finale, next week.

The first seasone was very gory. Almost stopped me from watching the show. Then gave it another chance in the 2nd season and it's much more mature now, not so much gratuitous violence and sex, but the story is beginning to show the evolution of the characters. Worth a look!

Bob, What's wrong with a little TV "Gratuitous violence and sex"? The finale for True Blood's second season on Sunday evening will be an event. I will be watching the final 3 episodes, and I hope there is plenty of sex and violence.

Mary-Ann is a great character. I like how they have it built up to where it looks like she has to kill Sam to think she can die.

They cheated. Sam is supposed to have a hole in his chest the size of a grapefruit and his heart was supposed to be pulled out, try to heal that, but he gets a little stab wound. A fun show anyways even the finale feels a little anti-climatic and like more of a bridge to next season. I am not complaining though.

Eric is most certainly behind it, don't know if it is actually him doing it, but the hands holding the silver were wearing gloves...

The Finale for Season two was written by a third grader! winetarelli; the finale was more than a bit of a let down for me! 1. You should have known "Eggs" was going to be history, because Tara is too much of a spontaneous protagonist to have a love interest! 2. As spo said, that phony Sam stab scene was nothing but pure hokum! Bill's blood couldn't cure a chest wound minus a heart! Besides, who would even risk that chance! 3. Who is attacking Bill?? Eric is too obvious, and anyway, he's strong enough to end Bill----no possible way! Jessica seems to be most likely, as she is acting bizarre and it might be payback time, anyway, it has to be someone who really fails at hurting Bill! 8 months

I think the Fellowship of the Sun is a dead storyline. I thought that Rev. Newland was an interesting character and I was disappointed to not see more of the wife, but I don't want to see them be one of the major parts of another season.

Latour67 - You feeling that Sunday night void when a show ends, or are you on a 3 week delay because of your TiVo habits?

spo I enjoyed the DVR of several episodes! As the suspense builds, I had more than one episode to watch..... However, now that I've watched all, I have that Sunday night True Blood void until next season...Also, I've been enjoying "Dexter" Season 3 again for the last month, waiting for the Season 4 premier--- this Sunday!
