Tommy's wine bar, located at 752 Tchoupitoulas st and Julia (I believe) it is affiliated with Tom's restaurant next door.

For those that enjoy wine, the offer some nice variety of whites and reds by the glass, and a multitude of wine by the bottle. They have a great diversity, from Malbecs, to Tuscans, and Bordeaux. There is a great decor inside and the staff if very nice. Granted I did go in on a Monday evening, but plan to head there as much as I can. Enjoy..

In the warehouse district about 3 blocks from the convention center.

We'll make sure to check it out next visit in October.

The restaurant by the same owners next to it is pretty good. Veal, duck or seafood.

Wine list could use some work but food is nice.

Emeril's is just next door.

Tommy's is from the owners of Irene's, so if you never can get in Irene's...which is ususally the case, go to Tommy's.

The bar is good enough, good crawfish bisque, decent wine list. Was there in January, it's comfy, dark, piano bar.
