I made sure to say they had some nice free agent signings.

What makes me sure they won't be contenders is they have the Patriots, they WILL NOT win the division. Their ONLY shot is a Wild Card, and one of the Wild Card spots will go to a team in the AFC North.

It is a huge uphill battle with a team coming off a terrible season that just added an aging quarterback to a setting he is not accustomed to. Greg Jennings also made Favre look pretty damn good at times last season.

The Dolhpins are going to win more than 1 game, and the Bills aren't exactly an automatic victory for the Jets either. I don't see it, how in the world can you say the AFC is weak? It is tightly packed and stronger than the NFC, just like last season.

You know...I have to say I was one of those who said go away Brett. Yet I think the Jets with all the money they spent to improve the weak areas, and Brett at the helm. Have a real chance of getting to the playoffs. Now where they go form there? A side note. my son works for our local small airport here in New Jersey. He was on the tarmac when Brett came out of a private jet that brought him in. He did a press small press conference from there and then they helecoptered him over to the Meadowklands. My kid got some great pictures. Next weak my Giants play them lets see if our Brett remembers our pressure 'D'
