Anyhow this is all speculation. If green bay goes 1-15 this year and the Jets make it to the play offs ... It's a huge gamble on green bay.
The Jets had the 30th worst line in the NFL last season. Basically, bottom of the barrel. What in the hell makes anyone think suddenly they are contenders?
ummm the 50 mm spent on alan faneca to start? how bout the upgrade with damien woody? how bout the beefed up defensive line in kris jenkins? Vernon Gholston?? the AFC is weak, what makes you think htey won't be contenderS?
I made sure to say they had some nice free agent signings. What makes me sure they won't be contenders is they have the Patriots, they WILL NOT win the division. Their ONLY shot is a Wild Card, and one of the Wild Card spots will go to a team in the AFC North. It is a huge uphill battle with a team coming off a terrible season that just added an aging quarterback to a setting he is not accustomed to. Greg Jennings also made Favre look pretty damn good at times last season. The Dolhpins are going to win more than 1 game, and the Bills aren't exactly an automatic victory for the Jets either. I don't see it, how in the world can you say the AFC is weak? It is tightly packed and stronger than the NFC, just like last season.

I'm not a fan of Favre either, but a semi-curse word seems a touch strong.

Then why does he insist the pronunciation is "Farve?" I went to college with a guy whose last name was DuBois. Yeah, he pronounced it doo-boys.
Just one more sip.
