I feel like I should be more interested in the Preakness since I live about 3 miles from the track...but as with the previous 3 years, I'll put some wild bets down and wait until Sunday morning's paper to see who won.

With your advice though, I'll throw some money on Big Brown. Smile

I really like Big Brown also, let's just hope we don't see another Barbaro. He ran an amazing race at the Derby. Might just get the first triple crown since the year I was born.

Wow very small field. Big Ben should roll! I'd put some small dough down on a long shot for fun though. Razz

I've not heard of this winery. Have any of them been reviewed yet?

Don't know if he'll enter, but Harlem Rocker has a shot to knock off Big Brown. The horse is 3-0. Great bloodline.

You can click on the horses in the pedigree to see their stats.
(Now, Big Brown has a terrific pedigree also)

So no horses that ran the Derby are running the Preakness ? (Except Big Brown of course.)

I'll bet a few of them will show up, well rested, to the Belmont to try to stop BB's triple crown hopes.

with Harlem Rocker not running, no one can beat Big Brown.
It would be pretty remarkable if it is close at all.
There is a horse called Gayego who has an outside shot, but most likely a 2nd place finish.

He flew in to Baltimore this evening. Flight was late. Even happens to horses.
I hear they showed "Seabiscuit" as the inflight movie.

If I can get a 40% return on Big Brown then I will be going 1 large on him.

BAD, BAD news for those hoping to beat Big Brown in the Belmont. BB hardly broke a sweat to win this one. Should be fresh in 3 weeks. We may finally have another Triple Crown winner.
