Looks like Thomas and the Bruins finally have the train back on the tracks (thank god) Now maybe they can finally clinch the East.

Okay, I tried to let go of the cross-ceck to Nabokov's hammies. But after watching Corey Perry go after Boucher tonight? What a cheap shot artist....

Nucks are picking a bad time to get in a funk, 3 losses in a row. Only plus is getting Rypien back, hopefully he can stay healthy, that scrap he had with Stortini who must have 3 inches and 30 pounds on him was crazy.

I can not stand Perry but I have to admit he's a good player. Just wish he would drop the gloves sometimes to back up his actions on the ice. But he's too scared...

Khabby picked a great time to turn on his game. Hawks are hitting on all playoff cylinders with only 4 games left. Still need a few points to lock up home ice in the first round though.

Exactly. At least Ott will drop his gloves. Perry waits for Getzlaf to bail him out....

The Canucks got their must-win last night against the Flames to keep their hopes for 3rd alive. More importantly however, after a number of shaky starts Luongo stood on his head and played the way we need him to play if we're going to make any sort of playoff run.

It's either going to be home ice advantage vs. Columbus or having to go into Chicago to start the playoffs. I'll definitely take the Jackets if I had the choice but I think we've played the Hawks well most of the year - either one will be an enjoyable series to watch.

ouch

I'm really starting to worry about what to expect in the playoffs from the Sharks (I know I know, I mean this year). I know they've had a lot of injuries, but 4 goals to the Coyotes?!?! Only 1 against the Coyotes and the Avalanche combined?!?!

Not to sure how to take that...

Bad Nabby was back last night. Four goals on 17 shots. On the other hand the Coyotes did a great job of blocking shots. The Sharks had 40 SOG, and Phoenix blocked another 30+....

At least the Sharks have won the west.....

Plucky little game between the B's and Habs last night. I hope we get to kick their ass again in the post season. They finally dominated them in the regular season this year.

Dunno Icewino. I'm getting a little nervous about the idea of a first round match up with the Habs. OTOH, that would be a quick resolution to the wager Bman and I have with Grossie and BirDungy.

I'm only a little worried because these teams always get up to play eachother and that might give Montreal a chance but the B's were on the winning end of the series this season. If they can't beat them, or any other team for that matter, and finally make it out of the first round they're not the team I think they are anyhow.

Besides that NY has really good goal tending and I'd rather not face it even though their team isn't as good. I also don't need to see anyone take any stupid penalties trying to get back at that punk Avery for hitting Thomas in the head with his stick during the timeout the other night. I can't believe he wasn't suspended for that. He's such a d-bag I'd like to think the B's are diciplined enough not to let him get to them but the way Lucic flew off the handle the other night who knows what might happen there.

Detroit sucks! Detroit sucks! Glad to see the Blackhawks take one away in Joe Louis Arena. Always great to shut down those octopus throwing Chelios diaper changing fans!

Canucks get the streaking Blues first round, should be a good series. There's a lot of good matchups, but others that I will paticularly be watching will be the Pens/Flyers and Hawks/Flames.

It wouldn't matter who the get once Jumbo Joe dissapears again Wink

The B's get the Hab's. I hope they keep their heads and it should be an easy series for them to finally get out of the first round. I'm looking forward to some nice physical hockey Thursday night.
