Ya, we're not real happy with his new panty-waste ways either; however, it's not entirely his fault. He's just trying to please all the liberals here and act like his head is stuck up his a$$ just like theirs are. Unfortunately there might not be an end in sight any time soon, as I don't see anybody coming to the forefront that has the right American attitude for the job. Where's a "Dude with the Tude" when you need one? Dang panty-wastes our country is becoming. Mad

bush is an idiot. just like every politician right now in both parties - they're all useless and i'm tired of everyone and their brother declaring their candidancy lately. the only guy who seems to have an ounce of sense seems to be john mccain, and this comes from a democrat! Smile

For the record, I'm not a French-hater. I just wanted to point out that over the last 250 years, a certain (at times very small, at other times sizeable) percentage of French have harbored negative attitudes toward the U.S.

During late colonial times (1750s?), for example, a prominent French biologist theorized that the warm, muggy climate of the Colonies caused all creatures who lived there to be smaller, weaker, and stupider than their European counterparts. Thus, North Americans, due to their physical inferiority, would always be dependent fiefs of the European powers.

At Valley Forge, General Washington and his men poked a serious hole in that theory.

John McCain IS a democrat. He might not be registered in the democratic party, but he is definitely a democrat.

The majority of the American people are idiots. On the other hand, many that call themselves Americans really aren't.

Foul body odors, females with hairy legs and armpits, a cowardous persona, obnoxious attitudes. Gee..I don't know why anyone would dislike the French. Roll Eyes
Hey Hunter, you know a thing or two about French females. Wink Although your experience is not of the kind mentioned above.

Peer,

Your writing this makes me question whether you even know what the word democracy means...

Care to elaborate on how your statement makes any sense at all?

I rest my case.

Do you know the expression about "opening your mouth" and removing all doubt?

Of course peer gynt knows what democracy is - it's getting the courts to impose a social agenda by fiat, since no one would ever vote for any of it.

I wouldn't even give him that much credit. As this and other posts have demonstrated, Peer is just a stone-cold simpleton.

If France were truly progressive and compassionate towards its workers, it would make work entirely voluntary, but keep the pay mandatory - just like the auto unions! Razz
