PURPLE and I have been HORRIBLE about going to the movies. Must have been six months ago the last time we darkened the doors of a theater. Finally got off the stick and saw Slumdog Millionaire today. Good to very good flick. Not sure I'm as hog wild about it as others in my limited circle but definitely a worthy movie of note.

I think next up is Frost/Nixon or maybe Milk if we can locate it locally.

I've seen both, and they are excellent.

I'm guessing one of my favorite movies will be on tomorrow.

I suggest reading "Bringing Down the House". In my opinion this movie was a travesty to the book. Even with a strong cast Hollywood screwed this film up. Such a great story that they turned into garbage.

I think I've watched it 4-5 times since it came out on satellite. Good flick. Especially Hoffman's performance as you pointed out.

Gran Torino. I absolutely loved it. Clint is a classy dude. He was on the board of an organization I used to do some work for and he always took the time to chat with me and my team.
