Is that the one with Billy Crudup and Jennifer Connelly? I remember seeing it awhile ago... very disturbing (but definitely well made) movie... I think I'd have a hard time watching it again.

Ahhh, one of my favorites. Such a beautifully made film, and with superb acting, especially by Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman (great supporting cast as well). I've seen it more than a dozen times and I still get choked up watching the last scene.

Did you ever read the short story by Stephen King?

Hate to admit it but I haven't yet.

I think you have the right movie but Billy Crudup doesn't act in it. Jared Leto, who does kinda looks like Billy Crudup is one of lead actors. Yeah its a pretty disturbing movie done by Darren Aronofsky based on a novel from back in the 70's which I believe carries the same name.

J is coming to town today, so may head out to a movie. I was hoping for golf today, BUT... Mad

Dark Knight ... the disappearing pencil still amuses me. But the best way to see this movie is with a giant IMAX screen. 32" is not good enough.

DD- the magic trick really is the bestsingle scene I've seen in a movie this year. Still makes me chuckle.

Last night: Tropic Thunder

Amusing but not awesome. Worth it for Robert Downey, Jr. and Tom Cruise, though.

Tonight: Either stay at home and watch You Don't Mess With the Zohan or go out and see The Tale of Desperaux or Doubt... the three seem like pretty similar movies Roll Eyes Smile
