You have to admit that it almost felt like a birth right to be in the playoffs for the past 12 years or so.

Yes, but I think we are all growing tired of NY baseball teams exiting early in the postseason, or not make it at all - in the case of the Mets. I find it refreshing to see teams from Chicago lose in the 1st round. Big Grin

I am waiting for game seven against the Phils when whomever the closer will be for the D&#%@*s gives up a walkoff homer to Jimmy Rollins and cost the stupid blue team a trip to the series....

Then Go Phils. For me, this would be a great result. It has only been 28 years since my Phillies have won the World Series and 15 years since a post season victory. Too long a wait for me.

AL East looks tough. Of course they did have 4 teams above .500.

PLEASE, any team other than the Red Sox. The Sox are looking great against the Angels. Words.

Why did this series have a day off between game 1 and game 2? This should not happen in a 5 game series. Yes, I know it is for TV revenues but it does take away from the series as it negates the depth of the stronger team and their pitching staff. ONLY one series had a day off between game 1 and game 2. Totally SUCKS.

As the team with the best record I believe they got to chose between a long series with the day off and a shorter one but I might be wrong.

Hey Rally Monkey...who's your daddy?

I said 6 words dude so relax, that's not exactly running my mouth, although I can start if you want me to. Beteer yet just take it for what it is, a statement of fact with a little ribbing thrown in for entertainment. A record 11 post season wins in a row over the same team but let's not have any fun on these forums right? Great try Angels, good game. Better? Maybe I'll just come on and brag about going to the games and catching fly balls, that adds a lot more to the conversation.

Tell me where it's bragging to say I caught a foul ball? I mean, I'm not the only person who have done that, many people do it at every game. But it seems to me you are only good at taking credit for things you were not part of.
Why don't you tell us about your Patriots? Roll Eyes
And you should be the last person talking about adding to the conversation. Why don't you go post a tasting note for a change. Oh wait, nobody cares about how a Budlight tastes.

Went to the Rays game last night. I have never heard noise like that at a baseball game. Sounded more like Saturday night at Tiger stadiumm...

AL East showdown is coming. Rays are playing great ball. Their passion for winning is awesome and heck of a testament to Maddon. 9=8.

Go Rays !

If his Patriots play your Cowboys, you'll have the last laugh. Wait. That could only happen in the Superbowl and his Patriots ain't gonna be there.

I caught a foul ball. Sorry for bragging.

Just one more sip.

Too bad your reading comprehension skills aren't as good as your bragging skills ArieS or your ability to look down your nose at those who enjoy Bud Light. Myself I enjoy a Sam Adams once in a while. Tell me how it's running my mouth to make a 6 word joke about the Red Sox owning the Halos in the post season. And where did I take any credit for any of it exactly? As for the rest of your stuff they're not MY Patriots, they're just THE Patriots that I happen to root for. If you're wondering about them, they have the same record as YOUR Cowboys and I write about them on the NFL thread, not the MLB thread. But I wouldn't expect you to get how that works either.

If you want to jump on me for the 6 friggin words about the stupid rally monkey feel free, I'm up for a good fight if you like now that the weather's turning cold and I have some free time. Besides, you're French. You'll run up the white flag quickly and easily enough. Maybe with any luck at all you'll just disappear like the cowardly Wine Wiz did.

Wow, I see Icewino wine lover, the resident angry chowderhead myopian is back. I'm no Dodger fan, but I sure hope it works out so Man-Ram can go back to Boston to take another leak in the Green Monsta in a couple of weeks.

Wow, as much as I dislike Icewino's taste in baseball teams, I don't get the response to his jab at the Angels.

Anyway...frankly, I'd prefer the Red Sox to lose to the Rays anyway.

You're not even worth a fight.
And the white flag comment, that's original, how old are you?
Anyway, I'm done talking to you, go away.

Angels are on the ropes. Good game. They need this one or else a long flight back to the west coast.

Like I said, it didn't take long for the flag of surrender to be run up. If I'm not worth a fight why did you start one? I've been nicely minding my own business lately but so far this year you've jumped on my monkey comment and asked where the dude is who kept running his mouth last year about the Pats. If thats not fishing for a response I don't know what is.

I can see why you're angry, it must suck routing for teams that are always cleaned out in the first round? But hey, at least you have the baseball you probably trampled some small child to get to.
