Six games left. We have three at home with the white sox we need to sweep. And then three at home with Kansas City. We are two and a half games out with six to play. We havn't played well since the all star break. Popcorn

Quit complaining. Your team has important games with a chance to get in the play-offs if they win. Enjoy the opportunity to have meaningful games the last week of the season.

My team has been out of the race for months. I am focusing on the few bright spots in a dismal season in the Bay Area. Tim Lincecum, Pablo Sandoval, and a few others have given Giants fans some hope and a reason to look forward to next season. Just hoping the Dodgers have NOT clinched before the last 3 games here in SF so the Giants have an opportunity to spoil their celebration.

Yankees get to hang on for another day before that final nail is driven in.

I'm allowed to jump on the home team bandwagon right? Big Grin

Rays are 3 up with 6 after taking the 1st game of a Double Header.

I do hope they can win the division as I'd much rather have them play the White Sox than Angels in the ALDS

Ok...then the Rays would really prefer to play the Twins.

Yawn!!! The Rockies forgot to do the Sept run thing this year! Mad So everyone here in Denver gets to sleep through this last week of MLB and wait for real Base Ball to start back up. Guess I'll have to pick someone else's team to cheer for in the playoffs. Popcorn

The local announcers even seemed bore last nite as the Rockies were pounded again! Shame we can cancel the rest of the season for lack of interest. Roll Eyes

Manny for MVP??? Won’t happen but in 50 games with the dodgers he has 17 bombs, 53 RBI’s, hitting .398 and has an OPS of 1.25. It’s going to turn out bad, but how can the dodgers not re-sign him?

The cubs squeeked out a win, but what the hell is going on with Zambrano?? 2 melt downs in a row after throwing a no hitter!! I don't like the timing of this, especially when Pinella is considerring him for the first playoff game.

All they have to think about is the tank job he pulled in Boston....

No and no.

Although, if they combined his AL and NL body of work, I wouldn't argue with the Cy Young...

I know, I know.
As a true baseball fan it’s hard to back a guy that disrespected the game like that.
As a selfish Dodger fan who has watched his team win only 1 playoff game (started by Jose Lima of all people) since 1988, I’m his #1 fan right now!!
Taking a step back, I would not give him 4 years at $100M which is what Boras wants. He is 36 right now, which means he is really probably 39, so we would be paying him $25M a year in his early 40’s. Probably won’t work out to well.

Very true. Plus, he is a butcher in the outfield, and this isn't the AL where he can DH.

Two years? Maybe. Four? No freakin way....
