Between my chiller at home (Rancho Santa Margarita) and storage unit in Anaheim Hills (climate controlled), I simply have to much wine sitting around. Got divorced and sold the big house, wife took the 700 chiller so I have the 230 chiller plus paying for storage with another 300 bottles.
I have at three cases of mixed Turley Zin (some Petite Syrahs as well in AA) FS here at home, plus other assorted CA Cabs, Zins and Meritages. A few interesting Dunn Howell Magnums and SO Magnums are available as well. In the rental storage I have Silver Oak, Dunn Howell, A. Rafanelli, DDiamind Creek and more Turley. All wine is either directly from the mailing list (which I am on for SO, Turley and Rafanelli and Martinelli). Anything else was purchased at WineExchange, High Time or Wine Club and directly put into storage.
Not looking to sell a couple bottles here and there, if you want stuff by the case lets talk. CASH only, no wine trades-although I might take a Rolex Sub (SS), Omega Planet Ocean, DOXA Divers, etc (we can haggle that out if you like.
Not in a hurry nor do I need the $$, but with wine scattered all over (between four places counting the ex) streamlining would be a good move.

PS: Not gonna even consider shipping, local pickup only. I am not desperate here, just trying to get organized.

thanx
Pat

Thanx for the compliment.

I almost wimped out and sold the bulk of it to an out of state buyer, but just can't deal with it.

Again local buyer only (pickup)

Would trade some wine for a SS Rolex Sub, GMT or intertesting Mechanical Watch (I collect watches, any other horologists what need wine and have to many watches let me know)

A couple notes. The Rafanelli Terrace Select is sold (all of it) as is all of my 94 Kenwood Artist series.

And now a funny note.

I listed this lot of Turley for auction on winecommune set a very low reserve of $1200 and kicked back to see what would happen.

TURLEY IN THE CHILLER AT HOME

35 TOTAL BOTTLES

04 PESENTI 5 BOTTLES
04 UEBERROTH 2 BOTTLES
04 TOFANELLI 1 BOTTLE
O5 RATTLESNAKE RIDGE 1 BOTTLE
05 DRAGON 2 BOTTLES
04 MOORE EARTHQUAKE 2 BOTTLES
05 OLD VINES 7 BOTTLES
04 HAYNE PETITE SYRAH 1 BOTTLE
05 JUVINELLE 3 BOTTLES
05 ALEXANDER 101 ESTATE 1 BOTTLE

O5 DUARTE 2 BOTTLES
05 MEAD RANCH 3 BOTTLES
05 TOFANELLI 1 BOTTLE
05 TURLEY ESTATE 2 BOTTLES
05 GRIST 1 BOTTLE

Needless to say the final bid came through on a five day auction at $755!!!!!!!!
I am still laughing at that. $20 per bottle out the door for nothing but Turley including many super rare and low production bottles (Ueberroth, Rattlesnake,Dragon,Hayne,Alex101,etc.

Even funnier was the e-mails I revieved saying they could come pick up the wine but only if it is real cheap because of the time and $$ required to drive over to my place to get the wine.

When you are dealing with high end semi-rare/rare wines like this do buyers really think the seller knows nothing of the wine's value.

One case of mixed Turley sold.

Should have upped this thread a while back, sorry.

The rest is still available. All wine is currently located at the Anaheim Hills climate controlled storage.

If you are interested in quantities of a case or more let me know. Feel free to piece together cases of mixed high end cabs. I do have lots of misc high end cabs from various napa vineyards.

Forgot to add.

I would be willing to trade quantities of wine for a nice mechanical wristwatch. Preferred watches

Stainless Steel Rolex Submariner (older matte dial preferred), Rolex GMT, Rolex Datejust, Tudor Submariner, Tudor Chronograph, Omega Planet Ocean you get the idea.

I would work a good favorable deal for you if you have a watch I really like.

Hey if you want lots of great wine all at once for one watch it could be your (and my) lucky day.

Again you need to be local (Southern California) as shipping the wine is not an option.

I will give it a week then pick 10 cases to sell on consingnment at a local OC wine store.

SO, TURLEY, RAFANELLI by the case.

Other high end cabs (Dunn Howell, Diamond Creek, etc) can be put into six packs (mixed even)

CASH or trade for mechanical wristwatch.
