Hey all. I'm in the market for a wine cooler that has 100-200 bottle capacity. I would prefer to have something well made, wood, not plastic,
etc. Has anyone had any experience with Americave Deluxe coolers? It basically comes with a standard cabinet that you can get different options (i.e. stain, doors, shelving, etc). The shelves are included(unlike Eurocave) and it uses a standard Breezaire unit. The prices are better than Eurocave for what you get.

Find a link here: Americave Chillers - Deluxe

Thanks in advance!

These are made by Wine Cellar Impressions in San Jose. Americave is the name that the distributor puts on them. I wish I had 'searched' and found out the makers name; you can get it cheaper.

I have one, been happy- but I have only had it for 4 months. I got a 620 bottle cabinet. The racking is great- all wood, fits almost all bottles (except champgne). But, I also got the bulk storage which is great for mags, champagne and .375 bottles.

CC - FWIW I recently compared all the options and went with a Le Cache unit. It is a furniture-grade unit and I have been very happy. Click Here

Thanks for the comments. I will have to see what the total for each of the units will be. The Americaves have this 10-15% discount that they keep talking about. Not sure whats up with that.

Wineenthusiast has a 15% sale right now. You can grab one of their remaining Eurocave 260 Comfort units for $1950. with glass. A good deal indeed.

Mine will be here Saturday Smile
