Moving away from Rochester, New York and can't take all of my wine with me, a divorce situation :-( but the first $2500 takes all. Most of these wines are collectibles and have been cellared in a temperature/humidity controlled cellar. Shipping is additional, if within 200 miles I will personally deliver if you pays for fuel.

Sorry for your situation, Dave.

As 'convenient' as that would be, I'd think you'll have a tough time moving all of this package to just one buyer. Clearly, some items are more desireable than others. You might want to break it down to per bottle pricing.

Good luck.

I'm very sorry to hear of your situation Dave. I am going through a somewhat similar situation, though we haven't reached the divorce state yet, and I'm having to sell a good portion of my collection.

Anyway, I agree with KSC02 in that you'll most likely be able to accrue more sales if you'll provide individual prices for the bottles you have for sale, and not try to sell everything as one package.

See the thread "duckfaninmt's wines for sale" further down in this category on the forum to see how I've put my list together... hopefully it'll give you some good ideas on how best to sell the wines you need to.

Good luck to you.

Hey Dave,

As the others mentioned, sucks to hear about your situation- best of luck with everything.

That said, I'll agree with the others that it might be easier to break it down. I would b interested in at least 6 of the bottles, but can't spend the money on the whole collection right now. My friend is driving to upstate New York this weekend, so if you're interested in selling off a select few, I can have him stop by and pick up the wines and pay cash.

Either way, let me know and good luck!

Thanks for the response and input. I would be glad to break up the wine into categories, i.e.
Bordeaux
Burgs
Brunellos
Barberescos
Shiraz or even the Kay Bros. because the Jacobs Creek was available everwhere for next to nothing.
I know the Spanish aren't that desirable I just threw them in so someone might have a white elephant gift.
and of course the Sauterne

If your interested in any of these groups please respond, I have to look a the prices for these groups.

I drank the Collazi, pretty good after a good decanting. Anyway folks I appreciate everybodies responses. I moved out locally and have kept and even added to my collection. With the economy tanking and wines prices shooting up it looks as iff I'll be holding on to my imports a little longer. Does everyone agree that the congress is going to add tarrifs to the Import business?
