A pair of Schrader's for $250 a bottle? Wasn't the release price $150 each?

I attempted to sell another 100 pointer, the 2002 Sloan but nobody was home! No interest whatsoever. Thats fine, I'll just hold onto it for a while.

I am telling you these cults are going to get their *** handed to them!

FWIW, Schrader does have the X factor. I recently sold 5 bottles of the '06 CCS for damn near $400 ea.

This board, while very useful, is not really indicative of the wine market...ie. i tried to sell some 2005 LMHB @ 4000...only three offers (one low ball, one trade, and one at offer price). that same week, a case sold for over 10K at Zachys in NYC!

people who are on these boards tend, for the most part, to be very price sensitive and (though there are exceptions) not the kind of loaded buyers who buy $300+ bottles to drink on a nightly basis.

oh, and a five pack of the 2006 schrader cs (mixed) went for over $1800 at the same zachys auction.

there are still a couple hot lists to be on...for how many more vintages is anyones guess!

TERPS

We opened it on Friday. Finished it off last night. It was outstanding (95) but I wont buy it ever again, not for $275 or whatever they want.
