No store ships to all states, as it is illegal in some.

I assume if South Carolina is on all the wineries shipping lists, online stores should be able to ship here?

This website will give you most of the info you need, as to shipment rules. Here Most stores will say on their homepage where they will ship. To find wines try winezap.com or winesearcher.com.

Not really, as certain states have reciprocal agreements. So you may be able to order from a California winery but not a New York retailer.

Cool Cannot comment with any knowledge about the laws in your state, but as far as 'hard to find wines' and a huge inventory, WineLibrary.com may have what you're looking for. I have used them a few times, having just discovered them in the last few months, and I'm impressed. Prices are good and service is excellent.

I frequent Wine Library (primarily for bubbles), K&L, and the Grape Tray. All provide reasonable shipping and usually have good prices.
However I always consult winesearcher or winezap before pulling the trigger.

funny wine quip goes here.

(Gary's doesn't ship to me anymore, but they're good)
