Hi there. I have a few bottles of cognac and whisky with me, respectively labelled Martell Cognac Medallion, Cognac Hennessy V.S.O.P Reserve, White Label Scotch Whisky and Black and White Whisky. They were given to me by my grandparents, and have been around for more than 30 years. How do i valuate them? I don't mind selling a few of them. Thanks.

B & W-
They certainly have more value in sentiment than open trade. Save them to toast the family on special events- |

Thanks for the reply.. but actually it's my grandparents' wishes that i sell some of them. To be truthful, actually i have a few boxes of them, and since we're moving soon, we'd like to clear some of them. Plus, my family don't really drink that much. But of course, i've saved a few bottles for *erhem* future. I'd really appreciate it if someone'd help me on this. Thank u.

Selamat Pagi,
Neither whiskey nor cognac achieve any additional complexity once bottled. In your case the age may hurt more than help depending on storage conditions. See if a local retailer can make you an offer on them. PH |

Wow, that's bahasa melayu. Then in that case, i'd say terima kasih to u. I did some research, and yeah, u were right. I guess i'd be keeping them rather than selling
