I'm relatively new to the forum and i've been lurking for a bit trying to learn from the many knowledgable people who post here.

I talked to one of my local shops who offered me 02 HSS @ 200 a bottle.. I committed to 3 but told him I might be interested in a 6 pack if he could get it. Another local shop mentioned they would be getting a few bottles in at 180 shortly but I have not heard back from them yet.

I'm wondering if 200 is really an excellent deal on this bottle right now. Should I buy as much as I can maybe from an investment standpoint?

I've heard many wonderful things about this vintage and i'm dying to get a hold of some. I'm feeling safe with picking up 3 at this price but I'm not sure if i should jump on the rest to put away or sell off later.

any ideas?

If you can pick them up at anything less than 250, it's a bargain. Go get em tiger !!!!

ps. Lowest "real" price on winesearcher pro is 299, the rest settle in around 399-450.

Take I-75 to 696 East. Exit on VanDyke and turn Left. ollow vandyke about 3 miles and make a michigan left on 13 mile which is calles Chicago road. It's down about 2 blocks on the right hand side.

tlam,

Thanks for the info. We have a place up on Higgins Lake and usually drive up via Route 23 & pick up 75 again in Flint. I may have to take a detour next time. It looks like the Match Cab is a good price as well.

Not sure if you all "know" Italian Wino but he will pay for it without a hitch. I picked up some Scotch for him and never had a problem with getting money from him. So don't worry about picking up a $200 bottle of wine since if he says he will pay for it he will.
