Seems a little steep for my blood after all the mailers this year. Still have 2 more must buys that I am waiting on, so don't think I can swing this too. From the e-mail:

Dear Friends and Supporters:

The last 12 months have been an exciting time in our lives for sure. Our wines, limited and relatively unknown as they are, continue to lead us to exciting new places, and are the source of some new, genuine friendships that will certainly be long-lived.

Our family has moved to a beautiful spot in the Tulocay region of the Napa Valley, at the foot of Mount George. We are developing plans for a small vineyard, a productive orchard, and organic vegetable gardens. It will become a small working farm and a retreat from modern life. After some much-needed renovations, we look forward to hosting many a celebration.

Our new crop of wines includes the fourth vintage of our Pinot Noir La Josefina, a wine that once again captures the rugged, sun-drenched spirit of the Russian River Valley. On a recent trip to New York, it was this wine in particular that opened doors to restaurant kitchens and had chefs sharing their secrets with us.

We also offer to you our duo of Napa Valley wines from the 2005 harvest:

- La Magdalena, 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Cabernet Franc from David Abreu's famed St. Helena vineyard
- Cerro Sur, 70% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon from the southeastern hills of the Napa Valley

Please note that all of these wines will be shipped in the fall when weather permits.

Please visit our website www.faviawines.com to read more about these wines, and to order your allocation.

We are also extremely excited about the Rhone-style wines we are producing, including the Quarzo Syrah and the Rompecabezas red wine blend, the first vintage of which we released a short time ago. The 2006 vintage of these wines is still in barrel, and will be bottled in the spring. We will release these wines later in the year.

Thank you again for your interest, and we hope you enjoy the summer!

Annie Favia-Erickson and Andy Erickson

Just seems ridiculously high when the 2004 was available retail at $85 per on the Cab Sauv.

Definitely passing on this...especially considering it's topping Maybach in price...I'd rather have more Maybach or save my money.

You and me both! I was lucky enough to get two 3 packs of the Maybach, but unfortunately missed out on the mag. Frown -mJ

Yes, I got a confirmation and a password. I asked about prices and they were very quiet on that issue. Supposedly they are going to be making the offering this month. Fingers crossed.
