I am overwhelmed with the sweetness and must show my husband immediately. I want a soft-eared little guy/girl. My Otis is afraid of puppies, bless his neurotic heart. Eddie would really relish a friend. I sometimes think it would be best to get one before Otis dies.

Damn those photos!

Lab Rescue people are great. I do wish I had the time for a dog as well. Even my pet beta thinks I'm out of the house too much! Roll Eyes

I'll spread the word to those I know are looking. They will be asking if they have any hunting background. Do they? Do you have pics of the parents?

A friends brother just lost his Chesepeke Bay retriever an they are looking for a lab for a family dog and to hunt with and I have a friend who's a large animal vet looking for the same. Those are off the top of my head. I may know more once I put my feelers out. I don't know if they actually want to pick out a puppy in person, but I can give it a try.

If you'll post an e-mail address, I can send pedigrees and pics. Both dam and sire come from extensive hunting and field trial bloodlines. Interestingly, the sire is a yellow, the dam is a black. All pups were black!

And he's doing great. I forwarded PH some pics of Bear. If he has time, he can post them, as I don't have one of those "online" photo accounts.

Perfect puppy... actually all 4 of them were, it was really hard to decide. We wanted to take all of them!!! Eek

Go HOKIES!!!

How many are left?

We are looking for a friend for our Newfoundland and our two boys. The puppies are just too cute not to inquire about.

One left. His name is Butthead. The only breach birth of the group, thus the name. Razz

If I had a real life, he'd be my dog, as he is a sweet and beautiful little feller. Cool

Long way from SoCal, though..... Come east jwr!! Wink

My bro in law is in Howard County. When we had Kommondorok, they both came from back east. The flight is a bit expensive, but the pups handled the flight well. Bro in law might be willing to help with the transportation.

My favorite dog ever was my basset hound named Black Bart because, um, well his "bart" was black. The rest of him was just brown and white.
