I am trying to find the best way to sell one bottle of wine, approximate retail value is $800.00.

Is e-Bay the best way to go or is there a better way to reach my target market?

Are you allowed to sell wine on ebay?

I think only if you're a registered retailer.

To register on ebay they have a long list of requirements. One of which I believe is a liquor license.

Definitely winecommune (NOT HERE!). A word of advice...if you want ot maximize profits, open a PayPal account. Winecommune allows direct payment from there.

Is it one bottle of unopened 1923 french white wine? I've been searching for one for years and have yet to run across it.

That was the best thread that the forum has ever seen.

Everything regarding ebay is true, plus even if you meet all their requirements you must be "approved".

Winecommune is the way, unless it is that elusive bottle of 1923 french white, then this may be the place Big Grin

If you would state the kind of wine and how it has been cellared, and your approximate location, you might find a buyer here.

Yes, welcome! I just saw one of your auctions on WC, and have a question. Do you really have an OWC for the 2003 Quilceda magnums? Mine didn't come with one, nor was I offered an OWC. Confused

As seemingly simple question from a one post member, that registered seconds before posting it, that will get dozens of answers, and never be back to respond.

Never seen that happen.
