I've got an 86 Lafite Magnum that I'm planning on selling on wine commune. I figured I might see if anyone on here wants it.

The bottle is missing most of its label, however "Lafite Rothschild" and "1986" are readable still. The capsule is good and fill is into the base of the neck. The wine was stored since release in a temp controlled cellar until 5 years ago where it was moved to a below grade cellar in a very mild weather beach town in Northern California. 100pts!

I plan on bringing the bottle to the wine commune people next wednesday (the 18th).

It'll be on the $1 start no reserve auctions starting next monday at winecommune.

Hopefully there will be some close-up photos of the label, capsule, and fill level. For a trophy wine like that, the label will be an issue. I have not yet purchased or tasted anything remotely close to that price level, but who knows. Anyway good luck with the sale.

I would assume that the people at winecommune (jjbuckley) will take good close up pictures of everything. I have no pictures of the bottle, and frankly I'm too lazy to borrow the girlfriend's digital camera and figure all that out (unless of course someone made an offer that I couldn't refuse ).
