Hi, I'm a student out there that is slowly getting weaned off my father's cellar and looking to start my own. I have ~200 bottles sitting in his space right now but I will soon be moving to downtown Toronto and would love to take my wine with me. Anyone in the area interested in parting with a nice used cellaring unit, anywhere from 50-250 bottles? Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.

If you can't find a used one, try this place downtown. They usually have their warehouse sale around Feb / March, and they do have used cellar.

Yes, for offsite storage, you can look at the Fine Wine Reserve.
You'll need to look at a 32 case locker to have room for your wine and have some space to grow. |

Thanks guys. I've looked into the warehouse sale and there are some great VKs that are popping up for sale at a price I can afford!

MeritageMan,
Welcome to the forums. I thought I would provide some food for thought. If you are renting in Toronto, you might want to consider off site storage vs buying a self contained unit. The reason I mention this is because the VC units are so tough to construct and de construct as well as quite heavy to move. Just my 2 cents. Off site is practical as well as reasonable in price. Now....where's that Screwpull? |
