We just had it in the magnum form this weekend in SF and found it to be nice, but I don't know if it's worth $50. If you do get it, I would suggest drinking it sooner rather than later.

Based on comments here and on the Tasting Notes board, I've decided to just wait until something more interesting comes along.

Too bad you passed it up. Caymus has been a favorite of mine for years. $50 is a good price for this consistently very high quality CA Cab.
