Just an FYI that I have shared many bottles with Steffen and purchased many more from him as well.

I would have personally grabbed a lot of what he has offered but I just don't have the space.

Thanks Rob for the endorsement. As far as this thinnig is concerned, it really is thinning indeed...I have lost my love for wines from the US, and am trying to sell all of them as a result to make room for old world wines that are coming in ever so slowly.

Zoot - owned by the Wink folks. Great tasting menu with wines.

Starlite - Simply the best spinach salad ever.

Uchi - Stunning sushi and BYOB allowed.

Castle Hill - amazingly consistent since the dawn of time. Stunning values on the wine list.

And don't forget crawfish are in season!
