Um, actually Board-o is our official Deemer of Cellar Thinnings. He is currently one year into his two year office. So, yes, it does need to go by him. You can find the proper forms to have your sale deemed a cellar thinning in the Learn Wine section of this website.

thanks.

Just an FYI that I have shared many bottles with Steffen and purchased many more from him as well.

You can buy from him with the utmost confidence.

I would have personally grabbed a lot of what he has offered but I just don't have the space. Frown

Maybe I should double-check to make sure I don't have room. Big Grin

Thanks Rob for the endorsement. As far as this thinnig is concerned, it really is thinning indeed...I have lost my love for wines from the US, and am trying to sell all of them as a result to make room for old world wines that are coming in ever so slowly.

All wines have been lovingly stored at proper temp and humidity, and are looking for a new home.

Thanks,

SP

I would add to his list of restaurants:

Zoot - owned by the Wink folks. Great tasting menu with wines.

Starlite - Simply the best spinach salad ever.

Uchi - Stunning sushi and BYOB allowed.

Castle Hill - amazingly consistent since the dawn of time. Razz Stunning values on the wine list.

And don't forget crawfish are in season! Big Grin

Yes, Steffen really is cellar thinning. I've seen the bottles and they have been most lovingly stored.

Some good deals for those so inclined. Cool
