PH -- Yes, I did not pay much for them, but probably $900 in the late 80's for the case. In 1995, I walked into my wine cellar, saw a dollop of wine on the floor and traced it to one of the bottles of 1982 Lafite. I served it that same evening, but it was so tannic that I marked the rest for opening 2012, or after. I still have the remaining 11 bottles, and none of them have leaked. I think it was just one bad cork in the bunch.
