They have been stored at 56 degrees celsius in my cellar since receiving them at time of release.

Grun, is there any relation between you and Doogie?

Renquist, I would post your e-mail address. I'm very tempted by the 3 year vertical, but I just can't make a serious offer at this time.

You might want to verify the vintage on your 3-pack of Jones Family -- the first vintage for the wine was 1996.

After further consideration, I'm pretty certain Renquist is pulling our legs. The wines he is posting on are just too valuable, there are too many misstatements, along with his rediculous spitting thread in the Wine Conversations section, to take him seriously. I would not be completely surprised if he were someone's alter ego.

My legs were never pulled by this puke artist. I had my saddle on his vomit covered back right from the start, when he was still salivating about Pinot.

It was 40 degrees C yesterday in Toronto and I roasted my nuts off. 56C would be crazy hot.

But the wine should still be fine if it was only stored for 5 or 6 years at 135F+ temperatures.

The 56-57F guideline is a load of crap that was perpetuated by the people that sell cooling systems and cellars. I have cases of '82 Bordeaux next to my furnace and I'm sure they will be great.
