Hi all: I've been buying way too much lately and would like to raise some cash to pay the invoices Smile I have two of these, so willing to let one go at a great price. As you know this is the "Blue-chip" bordeaux that tends to guide the overall market. A great ivestment wine - great to drink too, although hard to open up a 5L! (please invite me if so!).

Anyhow, this was bought from a reputable auction house who confirmed prior storage conditions. Since then it has been in my professional storage facility in Southern California. Bottle is in great shape.

$15,800 FIRM. Lowest out there by far - many going for over $20,000, and great provenance to boot!

`Matt

How the hell can you say buyer beware without any additional information. A general "buyer beware" mentality is common sense. If you have any specific info about Matt H that you feel is relavent then please share, but your ambiguous post is ridiculus.

Thanks David. Makes sense to me!

Yeah, there are a few members here who, for some reason, love to trash people they don't know if they post lots for sale. The excuse presented to me seemed to be that I posted my first lot just after a girl (who they though was a fraud) posted hers, so I must be a fraud too.

Funny thing is that I know her and she's the real thing - I even bought some of the bottles she was representing. Still... regardless... as you mentioned, pony up the evidence if you'll be accusing.

I'd love to see what you've got Cowboy!? Smile

Anyways, back on topic, this is a great bottle with great provenance... a star of any serious bordeaux collection. Please post or PM me if interested.

No, that was not me. You're wrong about that, just like you were about your first post. Maybe you're wrong about the wine you're trying to make a nice profit on here. Buyer beware.

Just one more sip.

I don't know Matt Harris at all, but maybe before we make broad statements, maybe we should give facts. Cowboy and Board-O do you have any dealings with Matt H. that would indicate that he is not to be trusted?

I don't post often, but I have to say I check this section often and have had many successful transactions.

Board-O PLEASE stop commenting!! You are not helping anyone and you are making yourself look like a jerk. You don't know this guy but you insinst on starting drama where it is not needed. Please email him all you want and take this outside the boards, but you are making yourself look very childish and lowering the standards of the buying and selling section.

Please don't respond....I know it will be hard to do. I just wanted to tell you what other people have been feeling.

Thanks

I didn't say he's not to be trusted. He's posted several things that were incorrect. Anyone planning a $15000+ purchase should be careful no matter where and from whom they're considering making said purchase.

Just one more sip.

You inferred he was not to be trusted.

I feel very sorry for you, you come across as a very bitter person.

I hope that therapy works out for you.

you implied that he isn't to be trusted and it's not your job to police this site, I see "member" not "moderator" under your log-in name. A lot of posters have left this site and many others come and go quickly because of abuse they see and/or receive. I find that disheartening and I myself have begun spending 90% of my time on another site because of it. That's it I'm done and off my soap box.

Hopefully more poeple will be able to post and enjoy this part of the board hassle-free now. I'm going to post some more stuff tomorrow and I hope to see a clean thread this time Smile

Let's see...

A 3L of 82 Mouton or a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix. I'll pick the latter.

i just plan out forgot where i bought it!
so
@ $15,000 some one has called the tax man!

so my old buddy (chief of police)took care of it! god rest his soul!

and everone here knows you would catch some flack on this one!

an most know that's what it was for!

so now the tax man know's you have more then one !
good luck on your sales!
