with all the chatter on eBob & WinoDepot, i'm not surprised (but at the same time i am) there isn't a thread here about this, though i don't recall seeing Jamie post here much anymore

very nice initial release and im eagerly awaiting to try the wines - hopefully i'll have enough will power to let them sit a month or so when i receive them... will be alot of fun to taste this side by side with the 05' Kosta Browne's as well...

does anyone know how much Amber Ridge is in the Pinot?

looking forward to popping the Rose by the pool this summer Cool too bad my allocation will likely be killed in one sitting Big Grin

congrats again Jaime

This is another waiting list that I am on. I've communicated with Jamie recently and he said I am close to being on the list.

Yeah, I was late to the party as well in signing up. But I'll make a point of visiting with Jamie when I'm out there in March so that I can at least get a taste in anticipation of being able to buy future vintages.

Alta,

i dont want to speak for anyone, but i've seen more then once (including on conversations i've had with Jamie myself), that he is trying to increase production on the Pinot from 150 cases this year to 750 next year. if Jamie says you're close, i'd expect an offering next spring

kumazam, Actually, I was recently surprised to receive an email stating that I was allocated 3 bottles of the RRV & 3 bottles of the Sonoma Coast Pinot Rose for this upcoming Spring. I was not expecting this!

fantastic Alta... believe it or not, i know people that are passing on this offering... i know this is mailer season and people are tapped out but this is a must buy for me... knowing the source of the grapes, where the wine was made and with who, and, like i always say... things are better when they're made with love! Wink one cannot question Jamie's passion!

the standard allocation was 3 Pinots & 2 Roses, i asked for 1 additional Pinot to make it an even 6-pack, hopefully my wishes will be granted!

I got mine a week ago. Jamie was kind enough to part with a bottle from his holdings when I visited him. And one bottle is infinitely better than zilch!

got mine yesterday, extremely excited, but im going to let sit for a few weeks until after Kosta Browne arrives then do a side-by-side tasting of all 3

Wine Joe

i read on KB's website they recommend not popping their Pinot for 6 months after you receive it, and if you do, decant for about 2 hours prior... may want to take the same strategy with Kutch if you pop tomorrow

Is that an invitation??? Wink

I got my KB in the mail yesterday (in Virginia). I think I'll let them sit that full 6 months at least based on what they say.
