Hi all, if you are unsure how to correctly pronounce Auxey Duresses, Beaulieu Vineyards, Ch. Ducru-Beaucaillou, Bourgueil, Krug, Neusiedlersee, Qupe, Tokaji, Willamette, Zweigelt or any of the 1200+ additional words included in The Pocket Guide to Wine Pronunciation, have a look at www.WinePronounce.com. The book is great for all of us who have trouble speaking the words of wine. And at this price, it is a steal! Have fun!

The link above prounounces Cos d'Estournel with a silent s in Cos and pronounces the s in Estournel. I believe that Cos is pronounced like the lettuce (Romaine in England). I've heard "experts" pronounce the Estournel both with the s and with a silent s.

I've always wondered which is correct, but I have my doubts about that website's pronunciation. Confused

If it would follow normal French pronounciation rules, it should be without the s in both Cos and D´Estournel as far as I know!
