It's the regular, not the reserve bottling. Trying to figure out if I should pick up the last bottle.

I'd do it... I've never seen pride below $65 out here. It was supposedly one of the better 2000s as well.

I'd do it, too. I've had the 2000 Cab and it's pretty darn good stuff. Even in "off" vintages, Robert Foley does some pretty incredible stuff with Pride's grapes.

Cheers!

I tasted this wine at the winery last year and also have a couple of bottles that I purchased while there.

I believe WS or WA gave this wine 90 points and this seems to be the concensus among forumites who have posted TNs on this wine. Personally, I think the wine is a low-90's effort.

$50 for a 90 point wine may not sound like a good deal to the average point-chaser--but I'm still glad I got a couple of bottles. I think it's pretty good juice.

I've seen the reserve widely available at auction for < $100. I might buy that one instead. I doubt you'll be disappointed either way though.

As rhone warrior mentioned, the 2000 Pride Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon can be had for less than $100 in auctions. I picked up a 6-Pack about month ago for $60 a piece. Big Grin
