I'll be in France this summer with a few days in Burgendy, Paris and the beaches. I'd like to bring back wine and/or ship it home.

Any and all information you can share would be great.

Thanks

Last time I went back to France to visit my family(as I am French) I brought back 16 bottles of wine, all hidden in my 2 suitcases :P

You cannot ship wine home, as Teri and I discovered after accumulating 43 bottles during our travels. We ended up packing it and bringing it all home in our luggage with not a single broken bottle, and though I declared everything, we paid not a penny in duty.

The only option you may have for shipping is to work with a wine shop that directly imports from France, you may be able to work out an agreement to bundle your wines with their next shipment.

Good luck, and enjoy your trip!
