I was fortunate enough to get on Kistler's mailing list to pre-order two wines they are releasing at the end of October. The catch is that there is a 12 bottle minimum to qualify for the order. I only want 6 bottles, so Im looking for other lovers of Kistler to buy the other 6.
The fall release includes:
2004 "McCrea Vineyard" Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay (92-94 rating Robert Parker)
Im going to be keeping 3 of each varietal, so there will be 3 Pinot's and 3 Chardonnay's left available for anyone who wishes to purchase them. Kistler is selling each bottle at $60, plus $4.50 shipping per bottle, so 64.50/bottle. Considering the mark-up that Kistler wines have been traditionally known to reach, this is a great bargain!
If anyone is interested, please let me know via email at morisseyrules99@gmail.com. Im looking to send my order in the next 7 days, so please let me know if you are interested. SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY PLEASE!
I sent you an email mcdesign. I might add to this as I didnt mention before. Ive been allocated the following:
6 bottles of the 2004 Russian River Kistler Vineyard Pinot Noir and
24 bottles of the 2004 McCrea Vineyard Sonoma Mountain Chardonnay
Im buying 4 of the Pinot and 4 of the Chardonnay, so 2 of the Pinot and 20 of the Chardonnay is availble for those who would like to buy. Anyone who purchases part of the remaining will be offered any allocated wines offered to me in the Spring 2007 release. All of the great "Cuvee" offerings from 2004 will be in that release. Again, SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY to morisseyrules99@gmail.com
Just wanted to see if anyone was interested in either of the wines allocated to me. Im going to be making a purchase of 14 wines tomorrow. Please email me and let me know: morisseyrules99@gmail.com
They have been sold out of the "Kistler Vineyard" pinot for over a month. If this is the "Sonoma Coast" you should indicate it as such.

As far as I know, and Ive been known to be wrong, the "Kistler Vineyard" and "Sonoma Coast" are one in the same. Honestly, Ive never heard of a "Sonoma Coast" labeling. Ive put in an email with this very question to Kistler.
I was slow responding with my mailer, and they ran out of Dutton Ranch chard and the Kistler Vineyard pinot.
Kistler nicely offered an alternative to a refund or credit, and said they had 2004 Sonoma Coast Pinots at $60.
Cometspider, who was sharing my min case order, was probably very annoyed by me missing the allocation, but the Sonoma Coast pinot is a decent way to make us feel a little better.
Kistler definitely runs out quickly, so get those orders in. Speaking of that, I've gotta go fax in my Cayuse order... haven't ordered from them before.
