I'm selling all my wine...I'm tired of paying $3000/yr in storage and NOT drinking any!

Here is the list. All wines were either purchased winery direct or from local retailers (Winex,WHWC, LAWineCo, Costco etc) and either shipped or immediately placed in professional wine locker in West LA. They have not been moved since purchase.

I've gotten most of my prices from Cellar Tracker estimates, and subtracted 5-20% (don't hold me to it - I'm tired, mistakes may have been made).

UPDATE on 10/27: Have found a retailer who will ship, so can ship to legal states (am based in CA). Six bottle minimum. I just shipped to Washington DC...ran about $50.00 case, fyi.

Please email me @ manku11@yahoo.com. Also, check out my feedback at WineCommune under "manku".

Thanks guys.

I would be interested in the 1 x 60.00 1998 Chateau Montelena Cabernet Sauvignon The Montelena Estate if we could figure out how to get it up to Norcal.

Let us know if you change your mind about shipping! I would take the 5 x Brancaia Il Blu and likely more.

I'll echo what Lentini said.

If you change your mind on shipping I would be interested in all of the Felsina. Maybe we could do a bulk shipment between the 2 of us to the DC/VA area?

Wine is located in West LA storage facility by the 405 and santa monica.

I wouldn't mind shipping, but don't really want to do single bottles. Perhaps 12 bottle minimum?

Also, if someone decides to buy the entire lot, they get free storage until August 1, 2009.

Thanks guys.

Some nice stuff, with some good prices.
Good Luck on your sale. You sure you want to let this all go? Just sounds a little like some emotional frustration going on. Think twice my fine friend. You've built up some very nice bottles. Sure, sell a lot of them. But all of them?

Mareff...if your buddy wants more than a couple bottles, I'm sure I could drive over to K&L. email me @ manku11@yahoo.com for more details.

KSCO2...I've thought long and hard about this. Today, I put together about 40 cases and sold them off to a single buyer. These are the remaining bottles. My wife doesn't really care, and prefers whites. We don't socialize/go out that much = with little kids and LA drinking/driving issues that kills much of the pleasure. So if I open a good bottle, I'm usually either drinking it all myself (not good, but fun!), or dumping 1/3 down the drain as I don't drink every day and I find most wine doesn't really taste good after sitting overnight.

Good news is that I'm still on about a dozen mailing lists, and frequent costco a lot, so i'll probably be up to 500 new bottles by this time next year!

Cheers.

OKaay. But, somehow, I'm missing the logic. Confused

Put a cork in it and stick it in the freezer. Defrost in water to bring it back to drinking temperature on Day 2 or 3. This works for me.
