I just completed my first transaction with duckfan and it was fantastic! Great communication, flawless packaging, and wines that appear to have come directly from the producer.

I give him my highest marks and I will definitely deal with him again.

Thanks for the very kind words and positive feedback, gig... much appreciated.

It's hard to believe that this thread started nearly a year ago and that I still need to sell some of my wine. I'm definitely not purging the cellar but I do have to update the list and try and sell a few more bottles. Having to do so isn't what I'd prefer, but as my dad likes to say, "it is what it is."

Anyway, thanks for the positive feedback, gig, and to all who have also provided some positive feedback. I'll be updating the list soon.

Received my "second load" so to speak.

Nothing but positives for the seller, simply a pleasure to work with and maybe too accommodating Wink

Probably won't be able to restrain myself from getting more.

You're a good man, Sticky2... thanks for the positive feedback!

Let me know when you get settled in your north-of-Orange-County place... I may need to do a road trip back to my old stomping grounds in the near future just to see the new place and drink some great wines with you Big Grin

I'm settled now Smile

My place out here is nothing special, but anytime you are in the area, let me know and you are more than welcome. Would love a good excuse to open up some good bottles.

Chances are we would end up in Orange County, as that is where the cellar is.

A reload for me too, reinforced by a thoughtful over-winter hold, and spring (perfect) delivery. I'll probably be back if you're still in the mood.

Jace, thanks for the very positive feedback; I really appreciate it. I'm never "in the mood" to sell wine (I'd rather drink it and share it with others) but circumstances dictate that I'll be selling some of what I have for awhile longer. I'll be updating the list over the next few days and will post it ASAP.

Danny, if and when I can break away to get down to SLO, Ventura County, or anywhere near that vicinity you know I'm going to get in touch with you. A get-together with you, Sticky2, and any other SoCal (or nearby) forumites would be awesome... the sooner that can happen the better.

I'm also hoping to make it up to KSC02's neck of the woods in the near future... been wanting to do that for awhile (50th birthday celebrations perhaps?)

I agree! Let's make it happen...there's not nearly enough enthusaism this far north of LA.

Duckfan, is the list above still current, reflecting the wine you sold to me? I might go back in for more Greenock Creek but I wanted to be sure you still have it.

Yes, with the exception of the possible "Missing and Presumed Drunk" bottle or two, the list should be up to date. Shoot me an email at borntoride3000 at hotmail dot com, let me know what you're interested in, and I'll get right back to you. Thanks in advance for considering a purchase of some of my wine!

July bump. I may add a couple wines here or there, but for now this is the most current list of what I have available. I will honor these prices throughout the summer, should you wish to purchase anything and would like me to hold it until the fall. If interested please email me at borntoride3000 at hotmail dot com

Thanks to everyone who's bought some wine!

NOTE: For some reason, I am unable to edit my existing posts (Admins, what's up with that?), which is why I've had to re-post the list without deleting the earlier one. Sorry about that!

Updated list as of 7/13/09

As mentioned when I first posted quite a while ago, for the most part I used the Pro version of Wine Searcher to obtain these prices. I have rechecked the current pricing on Wine Searcher and have done some adjustments on the prices. Bottom line is that I am hopeful you will deem them to be fairly priced. Other reasonable offers will most certainly be considered. FWIW, I have listed scores wherever possible.

I don't have a PayPal account so check or money order is all I can accept. All my wines have been properly stored and are all in excellent condition.

I ship via FedEx directly from my work (1-day, 2-day, 3-day, Ground options available). I have a fair amount of wine-specific Styrofoam containers that I will use but at the very least every bottle will be bubble-wrapped and protected as thoroughly as possible.

NOTE: If you wish to purchase some wine I will be glad to hold it for you until more appropriate shipping conditions prevail.

Feedback on the quality of the wine and how transactions were handled can be found in other posts on this thread.
