Does anyone have any idea what the release prices will be for these babies? I am attempting to discern what would be a reasonable offer to give my local wine shop (who should be receiving an allocation) prior to formal release. Thanks for your help.
RC?
LT?
R?
RSV?
GE?
E?

These are the prices, cut and pasted from the Utah state wine store web page. They were all recently raised, last week, after inventory was taken. These wines have not yet arrived, and the official state law is that only one bottle of any DRC is allowed per house hold. So you can buy one bottle of La Tache or whatever, but not one bottle of each La Tache, Richbourge, Eschezeaux, Grande Exchezeaux...

750 DRC ECHEZEAUX'05 750 ml 392.85
750 DRC LA TACHE'05 750 ml 1,116.39
750 DRC ROMANEE-CONTI'05 750 ml 3,697
750 DRC ROMANEE-ST-VIVANT'04/05 750ml 976.89

I don't know what happened to Richebourg and Grande Echezeaux, everything is subject to change and no orders or reservations can be made for the highly allocated wines. If you are interested in the site, the link is:

http://javaweb.abc.state.ut.us/NASApp/pricelist/Control...uri=DisplayPrice.jsp

They don't ship out, or in, wouldn't be proper. There are pluses and minuses to a state run store, you will get the wine you want, but not a lot of it. You won't often get a bargain, but you won't often get gauged. It is very much a capitalistic socialism. If you have the money, you can get it, but only one. If you have more money to spend, it doesn't matter, because you still get just one.

And in case you are considering the drive, the 12 bottles of 750 PONSOT CLOS DE LA ROCHE VV'05 750ml at $330.28 a bottle sold out the day they arrived. Lucky bastard, no allocation for whatever reason. One guy got all of them. Bastard!

It took me forever to figure out how to use that web site. If you try to navigate from the home page rather than from the link I provided, it makes absolutely no sense at all.
