Came across one bottle of this at a local shop today, for $70, and based on wine-searcher and winebid searches, it seems a fair price.

The gamble is on the provenance. The store is similar to a Binny's as far as store temperature and the bin the bottle is laying in. An inspection of the bottle shows a good-looking freely-spinning capsule, fill level well into the neck, and only a very slightly stained label.

So, 1) are there any other signs to look for, and 2) would you take the gamble and pull the trigger?

Thanks for the input.

Anthony, thanks for the note.

I bought it, and based on some notes I found on the board, I am going to let this one sleep for 5-8 years before opening it.
