Probably. Grapefruit juice tends to be consistent.

Just one more sip.

I normally can guess the WOTN, but here...I am stumped. I'm guessing that it isn't the Aubert though...

My invitation was lost in the mail, correct?

WOTN was a split decision between Leoville Las Cases and Marcassin. I favored the Marcassin but all 4 wines were excellent.

Board-O, what did you think of the Hartford Pinot? I prefer their Chardonnays and Zins, but I admit I don't have too much experience with their Pinots.

Over the weekend:
2005 Rosenblum Planchon Zinfandel
2005 Four Vines Maverick Zinfandel

Yes. Very "Rosenblum-ish". Huge alcohol, although it was fairly well integrated. Much more of a cocktail wine, than a food wine.....

I've found only a few wineries that make don't make zin cocktails. One of them being Haywood, which I really enjoy.

Yes, I've had many wines from ridge and I do think they are some of the most food-friendly and structured zinfandels out there. Also had a zin from Neal, but I don't really recall the style. I'll have to give Sbragia a try. Thanks.

2005 Chateau de Serame - this is a Languedoc? What a great value for $18; blackberry, tar, and serious tannins. Young, but drinking great right now.

2006 Cat Amongst the Pigeons Shiraz Nine Lives - very good QPR. Hides the alcohol well, with secondary tar flavors that I love with shiraz.
