Haven't had one done, but don't they give you Vicodin afterwards?

Yes, but I was given only a couple of tablets - "enough to relieve the immediate pain" - and after a few hours the effects/benefits were gone. I had the procedure done early in the morning so by mid-afternoon the effects of the meds (Lorcet) had worn off at which point I thought a glass or two of wine would be in order.

2001 Meerlust Rubicon, a smoky wonder. One of my fave QPR reds. Delicious. Can't wait until the 2003 version hits the shelves.

How do you like this? I've only had their 2001 estate, and it's one of my personal favorites.

Indy, there was a time (years ago) that Meerlust was a Neiman Marcus exclusive here in Dallas.

Hmmmmm. Indy, how much does this sell for in your neck of the woods? It's on our shelves for $25.

It's an interesting wine, one I like a lot. I hope it doesn't get a monster score somewhere, so the price remains low. I bought the 2000 and 2001 versions last summer at the local Costco. Saw them at my regular LWS (Kahns) last November, but none since.

Steve8, the price you have is about right. It wasn't any more than that.
