2005 Hartford Zinfandel, RR Valley. Nice Zin, not overly ripe, which is how I like my Zin. Great complexity, good finish, not very heavy for a Ca zin about 14.8%. Good Juice! Had it with Turkey Burgers and grilled sweet potatoes.

Infanticide? Yes. Incredibly delicious (especially with 2+ hours decanting)? Yes. ------------------------- "I don't want to manage my cellar... I want to drink it." - Jancis Robinson |

2005 Aubin Cellars Pinot Noir Verve Russian River
Jerome Aubin is a Frenchman that lives in the Bay Area and imports French Oak barrels that he sells to wineries. On the side, he makes his own wine from grapes sourced through his business contacts. Very small production and very good. If you ever see his wines, give it a try. "When I drink, I think; and when I think, I drink." Francois Rabelais www.tanglenet.com TN posted on Cellartracker |

K, this bottle was drinking well, but I found the Flor de Pingus was equally as good in 2001, and $275 less. |
