2005 Merry Edwards Russian River Valley

a Close de Vougeot and a Corton from our offline on Saturday night that I can't exactly remember the producers on that hopefully Napacat can help out with.

Both here good to start, but singing after 4-5 hours.

Go, go, gadget, Binomio!!

I bought two bottles of this... tried one in Feb '06 and vowed to save the other one for a long time.

How was this drinking? Obviously it was good, eh? I have been looking forward to revisiting this wine, but I want to nail its drinking window.

My months have been slow since August of last year. That said, it feels like June has been the best month since then.

Red
-2005 Mas de Boislauzon Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Quet
-2003 La Spinetta Barolo Campe

White
-2006 Dettori Bianco
(note: this may b a slight cheat as it is more of a murky orange color Wink )

Honorable mention goes to the 2002 Calera Mills Pinot Noir I tasted at Pinot Days and also, if for no other reason than its curiosity, to the 1989 Lopez de Heredia Vina Tondonia Blanco Reserva.
