I just got my first allocation offer from these guys. I was kind of floored by the prices. I signed up for the list when I just wanted to be on all of the sexy lists. Now I've been offered the wine, and I don't know whether its worth it.

Prices
2000 Vineyard 29 Cabernet 750ml
Price: $115.00
Limit: 6

2000 Vineyard 29 Cabernet 1.5L
Price: $287.50
Limit: 1

2000 Aida Red Wine 750ml
Price: $75.00
Limit: 12

2000 Aida Red Wine 1.5L
Price: $187.50
Limit: 1

2000 Aida Zinfandel 750ml
Price: $60.00
Limit: 12

2000 Aida Zinfandel 1.5L
Price: $150.00
Limit: 1

I've been accused of being foolish with my money, but I was shoping for some feedback before I got THIS FOOLISH.

I was at the winery in November with pyang. I actually bought a bottle of Vineyard 29 and Aida. Opened it here. Was good, but don't spend the money!

A funny story- they took 38 minutes to process our 4 credit cards. It's a high- tech place, but they can't figure out a simple transaction. It took them three weeks to figure out a credit they owed me! LOL.

The wine is very sound and I would say to try it, but I say look for better "deals" and support the winemakers that make wine "people" can afford.

Good luck to ya'.

Agree that they make a very nice, concentrated wine but I think it should be at about 1/3 the price. I've only had the Cabernet Sauvignon so I can't speak for the rest of the varietals.

Nice wine, but probably not worth the money.

I think most of the people in the group bought something or the other that day during the visit, myself included. However, our purchasing decision may have been clouded with the horrendous treatment we received at Quintessa. Roll Eyes

They're not worth it. I've had 'em all. Spend your money elsewhere.

No, I don't think this wine was ever worth the price even when Ms. Barrett was the winemaker.
