After reading several Top 100 posts, I decided to start an experiment (has it be done yet?)...

When you receive your next WS Issue (which will be the Jan. 31 - Feb 28, 2004 issue), reply to this message with the date received.

I think it would be interesting to see when various regions receive their mail.

I saw the top 10 issue in every bookstore I walked into today, but nothing in my mailbox either today (the 15th).

I never did get the issue proir to the Top 100. Spain was on the cover I believe.

I am beginning to recall why I suspended my subscription 5 or 6 years ago. I just restarted it a few months ago and have recieved 2 issues. Both at least a month after they hit the newsstands.

Between the first and last person to receive I would say 22 days. I know one thing for sure, I won't be the first.

I'll take 19 days. I'll post a format that we can all use to make it easier.

Two things: First, there might be some variation between issues.
Second, I am curious about a demographic survey of posters. What country are they from? Age? Types of jobs? Sex (which one, not how often)
Since you are "Mwagner, surveyman", how about doing this too?

I tried doing this here, but no one seemed to post anything serious.

Hey Ontario neighbours! I just got my Dec 31/03 Top 100 WS issue yesterday (Jan 5th)! Oh, and the Dec 15th issue arrived between Christmas and New Years

Jan 5th. Not bad, only 2 weeks after it was released in my local bookstore.

What a joke!

TERPS and Baird

That is why I cancelled mine about 18 months ago. I got fed up receiving it 2-3 weeks after it was on the newsstands. What's the point? It's no cheaper either.

I haven't been home to check the mail as yet today, but apparently wopbopaloobopalopbamcru received his new issue of WS today. "California Rhones"?

I guess that makes Georgia the first to receive it. Hopefully mine has arrived today as well.
