Darioush 2006 Duel Blend (****) - A great combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz.

Thank you!  The Detert was really good. I'm sure it could use some more time, however I don't see anything wrong with enjoying it now.

We sure did!! I guess I'm just lucky  The insignia was great! Like the Detert, I think it could use more time, but I really don't see anything wrong with drinking it now. I was, however, a little suprised (as it was my first insignia) at the overt influence of oak. It reminded me of the 05 Caymus in that the notes were dominated by mocha, espresso and cedar.

2006 Fontodi Chianti Classico, wow is that good for a basic Chianti.
