I think 28. This wine tastes just a fresh and fruity with a slight spritz as it did when I first got it.

Just one more sip.

2001 Clos Apalta- Oh yeah.
NV R.L. Buller & Son Fine Tokay. Alas, not as good as their Tawny from the other night but paired nicely with pumpkin pie.

2001 Ruffino Chianti Classico Riserva Ducale Oro

I brought this to my parents' house for dinner last night. My cousin is visiting from Italy but I didn't want to pop anything great since he's only 20 and not really into wine. So I thought he might enjoy this chianti (not really one of my favourites, but I have a few in my cellar). 30 minutes before dinner, my brother comes by, tells our cousin to put on his shoes and promptly leaves with him to head down to the U2 concert. Bastardo ! So me and my wine guzzling brother-in-law (I've mentioned him here many times) polished off the bottle, while my dad reminded me how much home wine he could make with the $45 I spent on this bottle. It was enjoyable and worth the price of admission to this comedy. ML88 Wink

What better way to celebrate Friday and begin a weekend! Cool

All bottles showed well, respectively. However, I'll just say that the Combe des Fous was indeed the WOTF for me. Especially with Confit de Canard sur Salad.

While I wouldn't open it if I had just one, if there are several amongst, it is very nice!
