well i bought some wine from a well known winery. an they told me to set up an acount with this shipping company so i did to make all happy.i fax them my account slip. so the called me back an ask how i wanted the wine shipped,i ask if could send it 2 day air they said ok. (because of the weather) they turn around and ship it ground !!!!!!! i said to my self holy sh##. if going to be frozen. i called the shipping company to find out who they shipped it with the owners wife said no. after it got here the if i wasn't home it would have sat in the snow. fed x ground does not require a signature. i call an ask the shipping company why. an i wanted some kind of refund of some sort she said no!!!!! flat out she said the wine got there ! well in the long run i will never use the again.joan the lady on the phone started getting mad then said i had no friends where that came who knows. joan the owners wife also said that she ships 500 cases of wine a day and did not have the time to even call me. some customer service. so i hope no one has this problem with them. the name i cannot say but (the flip side of a indian head nickle) i hope the owner of the winery reads this post an my friends warned me , i didn't listen, o well they had a good laugh today. 3 bottles may be down the tubes and $300 so all be carefull who you ship with. the winery has no control of the shipper
Buffalo shipping their prices are crazy. I would just have it shipped to a friend in a state where they can ship to and then have him ship it to you. I do this all the time NEVER a problem.

Just had an order shipped that I won in an auction and it was totally smashed in the shipping wherehouse, no more than 5 miles from my home. Didn't realize it, but the shipper did not insure it....Need to read the small print a little closer. The auctioneer to cover the wine by replacing it, but I did pay the shipping again.
