dont forget $15 shipping Wink

ive heard its really a limited bottling of Rivers Marie B. Thieriot Chardonnay - same source, same barrels, obviously same wine maker... and 2x the price! Eek about $100 incld tax is pretty crazy to me. i know TRB makes killer wines, but personally would rather have Aubert or Peay at a much more (relatively) friendly tariff

I am in no way affiliated with Maybach. Just a customer. But I will tell you that I know people who have tried both the RM and Maybach chards and prefer the Maybach, fwiw. Further I am not sure which Aubert can be had for a more friendly price. I buy a ton of that wine too and it is that price or more. I justify the Maybach chard by simply deciding to subtract a few Kongsgaard chards on my next go around (though I will certainly buy plenty of thosse as well). To each his own...but this wine is the real deal.

Thanks for the offer T-bird. Chris filled my wish list already. Thus I amortized the shipping over 3 bottles. Have you tried the wine? As you are in the Slope and I am in NYC, happy to share a bottle with you over a dinner one of these days. Give you a sense of what you are missing Wink

chalk it up to miscommunication over a message board, but it should read as:

I Picked up a few bottles of this as well.

I have some Materium waiting to be shipped and Chris was gracious enough to work these two bottles into that shipment and really minimizing the shipping.

Looking forward to trying one and have to say the Customer Service from Chris is about the best out there. He's very responsive and great to work with.

I prefer the Maybach Materium! However overtime, I've mentioned that I don't prefer Chardonnay wines, then Shaferguy91 and/or stemor will bring an Aubert, Kistler, Kongsgaard, or Peter Michael Chard, and I have to eat my words!

I won't order the one bottle of the Maybach Eterium, but instead save for their red wine, Maybach Materium! Eterium, Materium, I'll bet they're both excellent!

$78 is too rich for my blood. I'll stick with the R-M version at half the price. I will, however, buy as much Materium as I can!!!
