Texas Vines, I´m sorry I had to do this, but I wanted to let you know have reported you to the administrator. You can think whatever you like about me or anyone else here, but beeing as rude and personally offensive as you have been to me lately is just too much. I don´t think I´ve deserved that.

Some people need to develop a thicker skin.

It's just a wine billboard after all. Why do you care what anyone says. They could just as well be a twelve year old with absentee parents and an ISP.

Just my two cents.........

you are just mad that i reported you to the world for spreading BS

first you come on here and call Americans out for having such a dumb President then you provide nothing to back it up...then you go further and state that you have not even obtained a BBA yet and that you are not smart enough to be the president of the USA.....great way to start off there

next you just puppet out that Dr. Adkins was a fatass when he died without even having a clue about why that was

i have reported you to the world.....as being a clueless euro snob who believes that you have the moral highroad over everyone else even though you do not have a clue what you are talking about

you need to buy some thicker flannel panties honey or start to know SOMETHING before you post

maybe in ice country it is ok to go around spreading half truths and lies, but that does not fly with me

if you cannot handle the heat then stay in ice country internet forums where apparently it is ok to just go around acting as if the world revolves around what you and your 5,256 other countrymen think....even if it is thoughts based on factless rumours half truths and lies

and really as GA said it is the stupid INTERNET...the most crap filled grouping of electrons on the face of the earth...if you cannot hang here how will you ever make it ANYWHERE in the real world

please do not tell me you are going to be another girl with a BBA that has to run from the board room and cry in the womens room stall when the heat gets a lil turned up at work

plus a PM might work well in a case like this so the rest of the forum does not need to be subjected to personal whiney drival

the noise you hear is my lil violin playing for you Red Face Roll Eyes Razz Cool

No disrepect to Kicker (I haven't followed any of the threads that caused this little spat), but I'm gettin' to kinda like Texasvines Big Grin.

Texas Vines, don´t worry - you make me laugh, not cry.... Big Grin
I think it´s mostly amusing the way you get all worked up when my opinions clash with yours. The reason I reported you to the administrator was not because I couldn´t take the heat, but simply because there are some social rules on internet forums, and in real life, that you are obviously not familiar with.
You have the same rights as I to freely express yourself here, but why is it so hard to do so without being rude, degrading and patronizing? It´s going to hurt you more than me in the end - what goes around comes around, right?

If you want to, we can bury the hatchet right now. It´s a shame it had to go this far, don´t you agree? This forum is a place of great knowledge, and most of all great people, and we should try to keep it as such.

kicker: Being from Western Europe, you just don't understand the different civilization of people from 3rd world countries, such as Texas.
They have different tastes than we. For example, what is your favorite color? The favorite color of someone from Texas is chrome.

That...
coming from someone from MARYLAND? Roll Eyes

Texas a third world country? I thought that we, as a state, were one of the more productive economies in the world. You kids up there must have a different "edumacayshun" system that we do. Razz

Jeezus Christ, by Texas' standards Maryland wouldn't even be classified as third world COUNTY. Big Grin

I can't believe I just wasted five minutes reading this thread. I'm still trying to figure out how this is a "Wine Conversation."

For what its worth, though, I prefer Texas to Finland - a whole lot closer to Dixie.

tommy won't let me play in his sandbox! Grow up, both of you, and find another place to resolve differences. I read threads because often one comment can lead to another which may be interesting, but personal attacks belong with Tommy in his sandbox. Please keep your personal comments to yourself--I have lived in California, Arkansas, Texas, Ohio, Florida, New York, Spain, and North Africa; while I like to consider all sides of each story due to my cultural exposure, IMHO you each have good points. Yet the continuing debate which seems to evolve this far makes me want to throw up my hands and realize that there is no such thing as effective communication. Any wonder the world is in its present condition? Besides how can you get so angry at nameless and faceless "OPINION" utilizing a medium?
PS-GO TO MTH at least; but as you have already seen, big brother is watching!

Don't you all think that escape's opinions are more valid because of all the cool places he's lived? When someone tells me they've lived in California AND Arkansas, I stand up and listen..........

but do you suppose that had I been a "Georgia Peach" that my opinion, while valid to me, might be more valid to you?

Doubt it.

I live in Georgia -- I'm not from here.

All opinions are, of course, valid. I think TexasVines sounds pretty cool, and I'd love to pull a cork with him. Kicker's profile says she was born in 1979. I'd also be willing to bet that a 24-year-old Finnish lass would be a great drinking partner, too. I'm sure they exist, but I can't remember ever seeing an ugly Scandinavian woman. Both of these people have valid opinions. Kicker is just a little more fragile than TexasVines.

I was just pointing out (in a sniping matter, I admit) that you had told us all these places you had lived and didn't really tell us what that had to do with what you were saying.

I wouldn't be too proud to stand up for Texas... look who is running our contry and look at where our country is. The US would be better off if we sold Texas to Mexico.

GOLF&Zin and continue to look forward to them. Despite the fact that you cannot hear me laughing, I do go to MTH to chuckle every now and then. But I rarely get involved because of what my father taught me regarding the conversations of politics and religion; both are intensely personal and fueled further when matched with wine. I thoroughly enjoy debate and agree that it is needed, just sometimes feel that PERSPECTIVE is the greatest cause for midunderstanding. Enabling us to see things from another's perspective gives us a dual vision, ours plus there's. Wouldn't you rather have full use of both eyes, than be restricted to the use of one?
Yet we all know that in the male world it is sometimes our One-eyed-wonder that rules our decision making. I admit it has made SOME wise choices.

24 year old Finnish Chick?

Hrmm... Tex, you need to pony up with a early-mid 20's sister or cousin or something who looks great in a pair of tight jeans to win this argument. Smile
