"Why do you guys keep outing MWSales???"

Why is it sometimes the quote carries over when I copy it and sometimes I have to paste it? No big deal but a question that has bothered me.

As for outing MW, sometimes you just have to share your good fortune and give credit where credit is due. I have certainly been advantaged by the sharing that everyone else does.

Some already mentioned, and some not:

PremierCru: (I've had wines on order a long time, and others come through quickly. Doesn't matter. One of the best.

WineCommune/JJBuckley: Ditto what's been said.

MW Sales: Great service. Agreed, not always the cheapest but Michael is a great source for some great, hard to find wines. Super guy. Very professional.

Vinfolio: Great service

Vins Rare: Great service. Can be slow for presales. Good for Rhone and Italian.

SilkenVines: Similar to MW Sales. No issues.

Flickinger: Great source for aged.

The Spirit Shoppe: Somtimes awesome sales on great Rhone and Barolo.

TCWC: Chicago Wine Company. Good pricing, good auctions.

Primo Vino: Got to know your pricing, but often great prices on Italian.

HDH Wine (Hart Davis Hart, Chicago): Know your pricing, but good sales. Good source for aged. Auctions can be very good.

Crush: Great source for aged.

Capital Wine:Good place to browse for a deal.

Wine Legend: Same thing. Good for Italian.

Wine Outlet: Can be good for Italian and Spanish. Great service.

Winebid: Good auctions, great service and communication. Know your pricing!!

Magnum wines (auction site): Great for higher end sourcing.

Don't know if I can add too much, but I will echo the recommendations for Premier Cru, TCWC, JJ Buckley, and Winebid.

As far as some others, I have ordered from Liquid Discount in New York quite a bit. Everything has been top notch. Great prices too.

Gary's Wine and Marketplace in New York is pretty good as well. They seem to get a lot of Rhone wines. Prices are often very fair. Not the lowest, but very competitive.

Iv'e bought most my wines from premier cru but recently the prices of their pre arrivals have been insane. That said I'm sure the wines will cost at least that much or more once they hit the stores.

My least favorites:
1) AdelsWine - Single purchase nightmare, they screwed up shipping, basically accused me of lying when I called them on it, and refused to make it right
2) PremierCru - I know alot of you swear by these people but I've placed 3 orders with them, between March 06 and June 06, and have yet to receive any. Granted 2 of those were 05 Bordeaux futures but I'm still waiting for a March 06 order of 03 Pichon Baron. If I ever receive anything I ordered from them I will probably take them off my Sh!t List. Roll Eyes

On the Premier Cru - they always deliver, just got my 03 Pichon Baron about 6 weeks ago & I ordered earlier then you.

Does anyone know anything about cellarbrokers.com ? I ordered couple cases of Bordeaux from them. They charged my credit card, and told me it will not delivery until fall. I'm a little worry. Any feedback are welcome

I'll second B-21. I have purchased several shipments from them over the last year or so including BDX futures. Great service. I wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again.

I did one transaction with them. No negative issues. It's Summer in Cali now anyway, so now worries about the shipping. I would not feel overly concerned.
