Just read J.Laube's write up on TCA. Have a question. If there are half a dozen TCA tainted wines in a 500 bottle cellar, can other bottles be impacted? Can TCA migrate from a bottle of unopened wine to another? Laube made it sound as though TCA taints wine at the winery during the process of fermenting and bottling. Did I get that right?

TCA will not go from bottle to bottle in your cellar.

gmc- I would propose you sell all of your wine to me at deep discounts because there must be a TCA tainted wine in there. I will let you know how it turned out. Smile

I agree with Eric. No travelling between bottles.

Yes, but I came here for an argument.

Oh! Oh! I'm sorry, this is abuse.

grossie,

Thanks for the feedback. Since you offered, lets start with the 98 Gallo Barelli Creek Cab and 2000 BV Tapestry. I'll make you a heck of a deal...
