Ok...time to plan the big meal. What to make and what to pour. Any suggestions...the canvas is blank.

My family has always done a barbecue, with roasted meats, potato salad, etc. This sounds boring, until you consider the possibilities. turn the BBQ chicken into grilled leg of lamb, the beef brisket into a grill-seared beef tenderloin--Serve the potatoe salad warm with bacon and caramelized onions--the possibilities are endless. If you serve food like this, you can have any wine you wish!!

Okay,
I used to travel a stretch of I-10 between Houston and Louisiana quite frequently.

There was a crude plywood sign that would appear in front of a trailer home during March/April of each year with the following spray-painted words:

Easter Bunnies for Sale Smile

From May to February the same sign was simply turned around with the following verbage:

Meat Rabbits for Sale Red Face

Guess the 'lil fellows born around the first of the year had a chance for adoption while the rest went into the stew pot. Eek

funny wine quip goes here.

Day before Easter is a better menu with traditional Italian dishes such as Macaroni Pie and Pizzrustica Pie. Wow!
