Ok...time to plan the big meal. What to make and what to pour. Any suggestions...the canvas is blank.

My family has always done a barbecue, with roasted meats, potato salad, etc. This sounds boring, until you consider the possibilities. turn the BBQ chicken into grilled leg of lamb, the beef brisket into a grill-seared beef tenderloin--Serve the potatoe salad warm with bacon and caramelized onions--the possibilities are endless. If you serve food like this, you can have any wine you wish!!

We like to have little lambs, bunnies and ducks for Easter and invite all the neighborhood kiddies over for dinner

Okay,
I used to travel a stretch of I-10 between Houston and Louisiana quite frequently. There was a crude plywood sign that would appear in front of a trailer home during March/April of each year with the following spray-painted words: Easter Bunnies for Sale From May to February the same sign was simply turned around with the following verbage: Meat Rabbits for Sale Guess the 'lil fellows born around the first of the year had a chance for adoption while the rest went into the stew pot. funny wine quip goes here. |

Day before Easter is a better menu with traditional Italian dishes such as Macaroni Pie and Pizzrustica Pie. Wow!
